A small weeping/cascading tree with multi-dissected, deep-crimson leaves. Leaves are not as deeply cut as other dissectum varieties giving it a bolder, more robust appearance. Autumn brings fiery scarlet tones. We have found that planting this beautiful tree in a protected spot on the south side of your home will improve survivability in younger Tamukeyama trees during our occasional extreme winters.
